Ciego
de Avila, (RHC-ACN)-- Antonio Guerrero, one of
the five Cuban antiterrorist unjustly
incarcerated in the United States, wrote a
letter to Dalia Calvo, confirming the
unbreakable will of himself and his four other
comrades.
In
the letter to Calvo, Guerrero’s friend from the
Cuban province of Ciego de Avila, Antonio
Guerrero writes that the Five will “stand tall,
to the same height of our heroic people and its
history of struggle, resistance and victory.”
The
letter also talks about the upcoming hearing
that will be held in Miami for the resentencing
of Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez and Ramon
Labaino.
“There
is no need to comment on how hard the battle
will be in our last legal resort. This trial can
do nothing to repair the horrendous
arbitrariness and the cruel imprisonment we have
suffered for almost 11 years.”
The
Cuban Five —Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino,
Fernando González, Antonio Guerrero and René
González —have spend 11 years in US prisons for
their efforts in uncovering terrorist activities
against Cuba by Florida-based
organizations. |
